The Amazon Echo Show is the most recent addition to the Echo family. The Echo Show, like the Echo and Echo Dot, has Alexa features and can do everything that the other Echo devices do. BUT the Amazon Echo Show is capable of so much more!
The touchscreen display and the front-facing camera are what distinguish the Echo Show from other Echo devices. It only takes these two new features to unlock a world of possibilities. There are so many fantastic things you can do with the Amazon Echo Show that will make life in your smart home even easier.
Before we jump into setting up your Amazon Echo Show 8 I just want to make sure that you have the following things in place. You’ll need these to move smoothly through the setup process and not be stopped in your tracks to get these things done.
The first thing you’ll need is an Amazon account that will be linked to your Amazon Echo Show. If you don’t have that already you can sign up for one here totally free.
The next thing you’ll want to have readily accessible is your WiFi name and password. If you don’t know it you can always call the cable company or the company that provides you with your Internet and they will be able to help you find it.
Quick Tip: A lot of times you can find the WiFi name and password right on the modem or equipment that the Internet Service Provider gave you.
It’s a pretty straightforward process and all we are going to do is follow the prompts on the screen.
